Scholastics:

Daryn graduated from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and specialization in public health. She continued on to complete her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) at the University of New England in Portland, Maine.

Credentials and Continuing Education:

Daryn continues to expand her education through The Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute and is working towards attaining a Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification. One of her favorite mentorships has been through the LevelUp Initiative program for clinicians to discuss various topics in healthcare to enhance the patient experience. Her future goals include participating in more mentorship/clinician collaboration, expanding her knowledge in nutrition and becoming a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.

Experience:

Daryn has spent the majority of her clinical experience in outpatient orthopedics in Chicago and the Portland metro area, exposing her to a variety of patients of all ages and backgrounds. Her clinical experience includes orthopedics, acute care, and pelvic health populations. She has great passion for health equity and creating an atmosphere for each individual to feel empowered.

Hobbies:

Daryn was born in Guatemala and raised in Whitewater, Wisconsin. She moved from Chicago, IL to the PNW in 2021. Her passions include traveling, keeping up with her book clubs, hiking/backpacking, playing outdoor soccer, and exploring the Portland food scene with family and friends.
