What should I do if I need to reschedule or cancel my PT visit?


We truly value our patients being able to stay consistent with their plan of care, but we also understand that life is often busy and complex. If you should need to reschedule or cancel your PT visit for any reason, we ask that we receive notice by 12pm of the business day prior to your appointment (excluding weekends and holidays) to avoid a penalty. For example, if your visit was scheduled for 5pm on a Friday, we will need to be notified prior to 12:00pm on Thursday of that same week. For a Monday visit at 2pm, we would need to be notified by 12:00pm on the previous Friday.

We also understand that there are rare occasions where you can’t plan ahead that far or come down with a sudden illness. For these instances, we ask that patients move their scheduled PT visits to a telehealth format so that we can continue delivering quality care and progressing your treatment plan while keeping clinic staff and other patients safe at the same time.

For “late” cancelled visits that are not able to be rescheduled within a 3 business day window and not able to be conducted via telehealth, a penalty will apply (this will be discussed in more detail on your first visit, see “appointment cancellation policy”).
