Scholastics:

Cali earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) at Pacific University where he was also given the “Outstanding Service to the Physical Therapy Program” award. During his time at Pacific, Cali participated in research projects and presented two separate study posters at national and local Physical Therapy conferences. He served as a student ambassador, class tutor, and dissection assistant for the Anatomy Lab course. Cali attended undergrad at the University of Washington where he studied Biology and earned his B.S. in Physiology. Cali is a Portland native and attended Jesuit High School. 

Experience:

Cali’s clinical experiences started as a PT Aide at an outpatient clinic. His Doctor of Physical Therapy internships started in vestibular rehab and a clinic that specifically treated long-covid. He has experience providing care an array of settings, including acute care, school-based pediatrics in South Africa, a college athletics department, and an outpatient clinic working largely with chronic pain. Cali’s experience working with various populations drives him to provide high-quality care for everyone. The heart of his career aspirations is to work among the diversity of individuals and through conversation, education, and movement help them gain a better understanding of their pain. 

Hobbies:

In his daily life, Cali is a big fan of movies. Sports movies are a particular favorite, with Rocky II, Macfarland USA, and Remember the Titans being among his top picks. He is frequently on the lookout for new releases to indulge in. He is also a big fan of golf, and you can often find him on the course or driving range. He has yet to break 100 but believes this is his year. Cali loves traveling and experiencing new places, with zoos and aquariums being high on the itinerary.
