Phoebe Brown, PT, DPT, CSCS

She/Her

Whole Body Health PT @ NE Portland

Phoebe is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with clinical interests in post-surgical rehabilitation, sports rehabilitation, spine care, TMJ dysfunction, chronic pain, functional movement, and musculoskeletal conditions involving the shoulders, hips, knees, and foot/ankle. She loves working with folks whose goals are getting back to activity, whether that's a labor intensive job, starting a gym routine, or returning to sport. Phoebe is passionate about helping patients return to the activities that matter most to them through individualized functional care. She likes to think of herself as her patient's teammate: we each bring our expertise and unique skills to the table, and we prioritize communication to set and reach common goals. She focuses on providing the tools to continue to thrive after the plan of care has ended, so the patient can experience the freedom to participate in any activities they have worked towards together.

Phoebe grew up in Tillamook, OR and has lived in Portland since 2018. She attended Portland State University and Pacific University to earn her clinical doctorate in physical therapy. Her love of running, as a means of social connection, competition, and exploration, is what initially guided her toward the profession. She has a wealth of experience coaching teens/young adults in running as well, which has given her the opportunity to work on load management with patients, as most young people are doing much more than they realize. Running has provided her with an amazing community here in Portland, and she is excited at the opportunity to give back!

In the summers, she works as a camp director at a high school running camp, and has found a passion in pediatric and adolescent injury prevention and rehabilitation from her experience both with the camp and with youth sports in general. She also enjoy gardening (mostly flowers and herbs), reading, and learning to paint.
