Scholastics:

Sasha graduated from Mills College in Oakland, CA with her bachelor’s degree in Biology. She then attended North Central College in Naperville, IL, graduating with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy.

Credentials:

Sasha has continued her education in areas including outpatient cancer rehabilitation, temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMD/TMJ), vestibular conditions, hypermobility, and cultural competency.

Experience:

Sasha has worked in outpatient orthopedics seeing a variety of conditions including patients experiencing low back pain, neck pain, hypermobility, temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMD), dizziness/vestibular conditions, balance problems, general strains and sprains, and many more! She also has hundreds of hours logged as a yoga instructor and enjoys bringing many beneficial pieces of this practice into her treatment approach. Sasha’s approach to physical therapy is based in collaborating with individuals find tools that work for their unique lives. This includes incorporating principles of Health at Every Size, modifying treatment plans to meet people who have complex medical histories including cancer and cardiac diagnoses, and making adaptations for different levels of ability and mobility.

Hobbies:

In their free time, Sasha enjoys exploring the outdoors of the Pacific Northwest, practicing yoga, gaming online, and exploring different cultures through language learning.
